I would say he might be no thing what your HV says - my thirteen calendar week old has been dribbling and chewing on his hand (and my finger) for the past couple of weeks constantly although no signs of flushed cheeks, sore bums or more pooping! Simply my friend'southward son actually cut his first tooth at 12 weeks so it IS possible!

Hi Emma, my footling girl started teething at around ten weeks, she'southward now four months old and has iii teeth coming through already. the only thing I can suggest is teething gel and some calpol just earlier bed (in the canteen I plant easiest). I disagree when HV say information technology is 'unlikely' not all babies are text book. I would never had known she had teeth if she hadn't tried to shove my finger in her mouth (She's been rather quiet). Promise this helps x

Yeah my little one is 14weeks old and has definitely been showing signs of teething for virtually 3 weeks now. She's not cut one yet, but more dirty nappies, flushed cheeks, blowing bubbling/dribbling, chewing on her manus, my finger, my shoulder! Plus her front bottom glue has two lilliputian white bumps on information technology, and has get harder over the last week or so, yous can virtually feel ii little sharp teeth. She likewise has a cold.
Hope they come up through equally she's really suffering poor thing!
My HV didn't concur she's teething - said it'southward likewise early on, but MIL who was a dental banana is convinced, as am I!

Definitley! How much experience has your HV got? Doesn't sound like much. Babies can be built-in with teeth or become right through to over the historic period of 1 before they get 1. And then I wouldn't worry nearly it.
Buy Bonjela to rub on gums, Aston & Parsons powders to aid settle, and lots of toys to chew. Try a face cloth in the freezer.
Practiced luck Emma xxxxxx
